Laura Bush is traipsing through the middle east congratulating despots on their support of democracy.

Anybody who had any problems with Hillary Clinton while her husband was in office should step back and get some context...

at least this one isn't standing by while other wives of ME leaders refer to Israel as "gassing the palestinians." and then kiss her on the cheek. just saying....

Point taken, but I'm only comparing her to other American First ladies. Wives of other ME leaders may go on diplomatic missions backed by billions of dollars in aid, but I haven't heard of any.

The person who stood by while Mrs. Arafat accused Israel of gasing palestinian kids (she was speaking in English) and then gave her a big kiss on the cheak? None other then your future 2008 candidate - Mrs. Clinton.

Also 1999 is far far away from here and now. Many people's opinions have changed on the Arafats since then...
